Journey of Unity Since 2016 — Akhil Bharatiya Khatik Ekta Manch (AIKUM) Akhil Bharatiya Khatik Ekta Manch (AIKUM) was established in 2016 with the aim of bringing all sub-communities of the Khatik society together and creating a strong, democratic platform for the overall development of the community. What began as a small initiative by a few socially conscious individuals has today emerged as an organized movement. AIKUM works to connect the Khatik community through education, awareness, employment support, women empowerment, organizational upliftment, and rights advocacy. Our Mission The core mission of AIKUM is to unite the Khatik community with its cultural roots while ensuring collective growth and equal opportunities for all. We believe: “Development is only possible through unity - All for one, One for all.” Key Features 1) Unification of All Sub-communities AIKUM embraces all sub-groups within the Khatik community - regardless of region, tradition, or background - and works to strengthen their collective identity. 2) Democratic Village Assemblies Our functioning is based on a democratic system, where village assemblies participate in decision-making, ensuring that actions reflect community needs and local participation. 3) Service-Oriented Structure AIKUM works towards: Guidance Support Awareness Relationship building Opportunity creation This approach helps connect everyone within the community.
